What is the difference between battery charging and instant boosting

Goodall’s Start•All® units provide battery charging AND boosting power. They take a few minutes to charge a vehicle, but they also provide a standing charge to the vehicle’s batteries and can perform an infinite number of jumps starts.

What type of jump starting system do I need

This is a very common question we are asked. Several variables play into accurately answering this question.

  • How quickly do you need to jump a vehicle?
  • How many starts do you need to perform each day?
  • What is your budget?

A good place to start is here. This is a question that is usually best answered through a dialogue with us. Please feel free to call us at 800-328-7730 and we will be happy to provide you  with solutions that meet your needs.

Why do I need to upgrade my unit

By upgrading your unit you will gain:

  • Advanced voltage regulation to protect the vehicle electronics during jumpstarting
  • Simpler operation with all controls and instructions in one location
  • Full-power boosting through one set of cables

Are Start•All® units safe to use on vehicles equipped with AGM batteries

While AGM batteries have tight tolerances for charging, using a Start•All® to jump start an AGM equipped vehicle will not harm the batteries.

If I have an older Start•All® unit that does not have a voltage control module, can I upgrade my unit

Yes. We have upgrade kits for virtually all models of Start∙All units. Contact us for your specific need.

Will a Start•All® unit damage my vehicle

No. Start∙All® units built since the late 1980’s have incorporated a voltage control module which regulates the output voltage of the Start All unit to a voltage that will not damage vehicle electronics.
